Vintage Curious George STAMP A NAME Rubber Stamp + Set of 3 w/ Ink Pad – NEW
This was found in Nana's Present room after she passed. That's where she kept loads of toys, clothes and general stuff that the grandkids might like, need or want. And that room was packed. Opening the closet itself was a danger in case things started falling from the shelves. Yet I find myself in awe of the range of items Nana had, ‘just in case.’
The large Curious George Stamp-A-Name wooden rubber stamp (2 5/8” x 22” x ¾”) allows you to ink stamp your own bookplates, in your own books, with your own name in ink. Kinda nifty!
The smaller Curious George stamps are 1” x 1” x .5” and appear to be a combination of rubber stamp, foamy middle, and a plastic overlay of pictures of George with beach balls. We don’t know for sure because we can’t find a pic on the internet and our package is new.
As you can see in the picture, the smaller pack had the very top, near the store rack hangers, bent. Which is kind of a blessing, because we couldn’t find a box to fit both.
The both sets comes with an inkpad. We assume that it is dry because other listings peg this as 1998, which we can neither confirm or deny. Nothing a little bit of stamp ink won’t refresh.
Boxed for shipping, this weighs 15 oz and measures 8” x 6” x 2”.
