This was found in Nana's Present room after she passed. That's where she kept loads of toys, clothes and general stuff that the grandkids might like, need or want. And that room was packed. Opening the closet itself was a danger in case things started falling from the shelves. Yet I find myself in awe of the range of items Nana had, ‘just in case.’
We are also pretty sure this is USED, but it was hard to make that distinction. It’s only when we figured out how thick this is, and couldn’t find a real comparison, that we figure out this was VINTAGE.
Remember when the Fire Department comes to the lower grades for a show and tell? They hand out those thin plastic red hats to the kids? This ain’t that kind of plastic. This is old school, thicker, with some give, AND an adjustable headband so it can grow with the child.
This hat is 11 ½” long and is 8 ½” flaring to 9 ½” wide. It is 4 ½” tall at the peak.
Boxed for shipping, this weighs 1 lbs 8 oz and measures 14” x 7” x 10”.
