This was my nephew’s toy from his other Grandma and he loved it. And there are a lot of things to love. You can mix and match roads, or keep the same for other areas. The cars move on the tracks and most of it lights up!
When we were kids, we all got our own ‘tree’ in our rooms that we could decorate the way we wanted…with construction paper chains and ornaments we made at school. Wouldn’t this type of track be a treat for the kids? It can even serve as a night light!
The one thing wrong that we know about is that the blue car (01) is missing a top button. It can still turn on, and little (and big) hands can reach into the top place where the button went to turn it on by hand. We see nothing else wrong with this system, but please, zoom in and verify for yourself before you buy. We have old eyes. Sigh.
Also, my 50’s red dinette set plays havoc with color. These tracks may seem washed out, but it’s only because of the table. They are just like every other track shown on this site.
I’m sorry, but we didn’t have time to let these sit out and absorb the light. We had verified a pink track glowed but didn’t think to photo it. So, being pressed for time, we put a torch light down for 5 minutes in front of the track, and it worked, slowly spreading to the adjacent pieces. It did not make it around the entire track. Sorry my torch lamp is in the video.
