condition: good
make / manufacturer: Apple
model name / number: Mac Pro A1186 A1289
Three Mac Pros for sale, two 2008 units in good operating condition, the 2012 one needs some work. Cleaning out my computer stuff. One of the 2008 machines has been my primary WFH machine for many years and has been super reliable. I got the other two as spares.

Cash only, local pickup only, at a public location.

I don't have power cords for these units but they're cheap to pick up. The machines are all in good but not perfect cosmetic condition. NO DISKS INCLUDED.

First unit:
Model 3,1 A1186, Early 2008 - Dual 2.8GHz Quad Core
Serial Number G882813GXYL
6 GB RAM (6x1)
Four GPUs installed:
Two ATI HD2600XT 256MB
Two Nvidia Quadro 600
I booted it successfully into Catalina. This required the DosDude1 OS patch and a Metal compatible GPU which I'm NOT including. I also booted it off an old Mountain Lion disk I had (NOT included) to show the included GPUs register. Can run El Capitan natively with the included GPUs. Image in posting shows 5GB RAM, I reseated the RAM and it all showed up.
$100

Second unit:
Model 3,1 A1186, Early 2008 - Single 2.8GHz Quad Core
Serial Number G88300Q77XYL
14 GB RAM (4x2,2x2,1x2)
Two GPUs installed:
Nvidia Geforce GTX570 2GB
Nvidia Geforce GT120 512MB
I booted it successfully into Catalina. This required the DosDude1 OS patch and a Metal compatible GPU which I'm NOT including. I also booted it off an old Mountain Lion disk I had (NOT included) to show the included GPUs register. Can run El Capitan natively with the included GPUs.
$100

Third unit:
Model 5,1 A1289, Mid 2012 - Dual 3.06GHz 8 Core
Serial Number CMVJ110EF4MH
16 GB RAM (4x4)
One GPU:
ATI Radeon HD5770 1GB
I got this unit to boot once (to Catalina), but then it would not power up. Suspect either the power supply or backplane has an issue. Don't have time to resolve this but it's otherwise a nice machine. Should run High Sierra natively or Mojave natively with a Metal compatible GPU.
$50

All three for $200.
