I'm moving and looking to sublet my 1100 sq ft 2bed, 1.5 bath townhouse starting May 1st.
LOCATION: The townhouse is located on the West Side of Ann Arbor in the Abbot neighborhood. It's walking distance to Plum Market (and all the cafes and shops there), Westgate library, Vet's park and pool, El Harissa, Anthony's, and Juicy Kitchen. Two bus stops are within a block from the front door and three buses go to either Blake Transit Center (downtown) or Central Campus Transit Center (with stops downtown). It's a ten-minute ride down Miller's new protected bike lane to central campus and a half hour walk to Bird Hills and the Miller Woods, which is great for runners! It’s far enough from campus that you can leave work behind but still a reasonable commute. We've really loved living here.
THE TOWNHOUSE: This is a split-level end unit with neighbors on one side and a small park on the other. The two bedrooms and full bath are upstairs, while the washer/dryer, kitchen, living room, and half bath are downstairs. There’s a dishwasher, too. I’m also leaving behind a beautiful, professionally maintained garden in the backyard where tulips and daffodils are just starting to come up. It’s a great place to read or study, almost like a secret garden.
DETAILS: I am moving May 1st, but beginning and end dates are slightly flexible. My lease is up 7/24, but there's a possibility of taking over the lease in the fall (for a slight increase of $2150). You'll pay electricity and internet, but water is included in the rent. I’m open to leaving some of the furnishings. Pets are welcome!
