Rent in Ann Arbor has gotten ridiculous. After extensive searching the only reasonable option is to share an apartment and split expenses. One bedroom apartments go for around $1,600, and a two bedroom is typically only a few hundred dollars more.
I'm looking for a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment/condo, and I'm looking for another professional person to split the rent and utilities. Private rooms and bathrooms for each and share kitchen/laundry/common living spaces.
I'm leaning toward looking on the outskirts of Ann Arbor with one of my main targets being Dexter. Ann Arbor has gotten too hectic and Dexter is a quiet small town only minutes from Ann Arbor.
I'm a mature gentleman, and I typically work six days a week. I'm looking for a person who meets the following:
- Gender does not matter - this is strictly a business arrangement - I'm private and respect others privacy - but I am social and happy to split a pizza or meal on occasion if you desire
- Does not smoke
- Does not party - occasional drink fine - but no blow out parties
- Does not have overnight guests - out of town spouse/significant other coming to visit fine - but no revolving doors
- Strong work history - current full time job - advanced degree program or postdoc - no undergrads
- Good to great credit rating - my credit score is 794
- Prefer no pets as it opens up more housing options - but I am an animal lover and if you have one - I get it - we can talk
