For sale is a Yamaha DTX542K excellent electronic drum set in like new condition, with the following components, all quantity (1) except as noted:
DTX502 drum module, power adaptor, RS502 drum rack, XP80 snare pad, XP70 tom pad (x 3), PCY135 cymbal pad, PCY100 cymbal pad (x 2), KP65 kick pad, HH65 hi-hat controller, tuning key, felt pads, clamps, screws, cables, etc. As shown, ready to play. As shown, these are mesh head drum pads. When originally shopping, I tried the Roland brand, and I liked these a lot more.
In addition to the package described above, I have separately included (1) each of:
With the addition of the RHH135 and Tama stand, the HH65 hi-hat controller pedal became unnecessary, and the PCY135 became a second crash cymbal. The HH65 pedal incorporates a potentiometer, not a trigger. It may be possible to use it for something, but I am leery of plugging it into a pad input jack, for fear of letting the smoke out. Perhaps a call to Yamaha....
With the DTX502 module's sequencer, up to 104,000 notes can be stored in 40 user songs. 691 preset drum and percussion voices and 120 keyboard voices are included, and included are 60 preset songs. 16-bit .wav and .aiff samples can be imported, limited by total memory of 1 MB.
Since my group practices elsewhere, and I am a keyboardist, I bought it for grins, have played it for a few minutes at most, and need the space back.
If you total the suggested new retail prices of the above, you get $2791.90, which doesn't include the HH65. I certainly did not pay that much, as I bought most of it as a set. I am only asking $700 for it all. 'Cause I'm stupid. But no trades, please, only cash. I could bargain if there are a couple things you don't want of it.
I also have a double kick pedal which I bought used but never set up. Email me and I'll dig it out and we'll negotiate a deal for it.
