Univox Hi Flier Short Scale Bass - $750 (Ann Arbor)

This is a very fine example of this bass. It’s in amazing condition… it plays beautifully with a straight neck, nice low action and the truss rod works perfectly. Prior to me owning it, it was owned by a professional musician who had new frets installed, dressed etc. The control cavity has been shielded with StewMac copper tape so there’s no buzzing. A new switchcraft output jack was also installed and the volume and tone potentiometers are quiet. It is currently strung with GHS flat wound strings.
These Japanese Univox guitars and basses are super cool - and play and sound great! Great build quality, and very unique.
