New Haven Moving Company has been in business since 1911. Our Detroit Branch has been operating
for 5 years and is growing. We’re looking for a motivated, dependable person to join our team in an
entry-level role with clear room to grow.
What You’ll Do
• Drive company vehicles as needed (part-time driving)
• Help run and support our rental program
• Warehouse work including loading/unloading, staging, organizing, and maintaining equipment
• Operate a hi-lo/forklift (experience preferred, training available)
• Use a computer for basic tasks like tracking rentals, documentation, and communication
What We’re Looking For
• Strong work ethic, responsible, and dependable
• Willingness to learn and adapt to get the job done
• Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and being hands-on
• Able to follow directions, communicate clearly, and be part of a team
Requirements
• Must be 18+
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Chauffeur’s license required
• DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate) required (we can assist you in getting it)
• Hi-lo/forklift experience preferred OR willingness to be trained (we can assist with hi-lo certification)
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Basic computer skills (email, simple data entry)
