There are two sets for sale; both are priced at $15 dollars each. We also have extra pictures, just ask!
When I found these at the Pier 1, I always thought of them as eggs, or egg shaped. I thought it was a clever blending of holidays, like Easter AND Christmas. Of course, that was when I was in college and ART was everything.
And while I remember them in the store, I don’t think they ever came out of the box after I packed them away. I never had a mantle, or a house big enough to decorate, and we ended up traveling every year to be with family over the holidays. These may actually be BRAND NEW.
And now that I’m older, I do recognize the rustic, country, Folk Art vibe these give off.
The snowman and baby are in wonderful shape. There is no evidence of bring used. The only things wrong we see are 2 nicks on the baby boots (black Sharpie is an easy fix) and one tiny crack on what would be the snowman’s left glove between the red and green edge. The snowman is 5” x 5” x 7.” The baby is 3 ½” x 3” x 3 ½” tall. Boxed for shipping, this weighs 1 lb 14 ozs and measures 7” x 6” x 10.”
The Santa is in wonderful shape too and is slightly more rustic than the snowman and that appears to be from the production, not after market. No broken or cracked paint etc. The only things wrong we see are a few nicks on the baby boots (black Sharpie is an easy fix) and one dent and the starting of a crack on what would be the baby Santa’s face under the rouge on the cheek. Zoom in on the first shot of Santa and baby together and also the shot where they are looking to the right. You will see it then. I didn’t notice it until I was looking at the pictures. We think the baby needs a refresh from an artist or makeup artist. The Santa is 5 ½” x 4 ½” x 6 ½” tall. The baby is 3 ½” x 3” x 3 ½” tall. Boxed for shipping, this weighs 1 lb 9 ozs and measures 7” x 6” x 10.”
