NEW Bella Cucina 18 Quart Roaster Oven w/ Removable Pan & Rack - Buffet Baking
My mom was an incredible person and did everything and anything for the family; especially for the kids. There were 4 of us, and my parents would fight over mom always making sure each kid got the same *anything* that the others had. Dad always accused her of counting the Easter eggs too. And she must have. Eventually, after the Easter Bunny had moved on into history and she’d just throw entire bags of the same kind jelly bean eggs into each bag.
Which brings us to this Roaster Oven. Every Christmas, we’d all get the same small appliances. Seriously. She was a card! She’d keep notes of which kid got what, so that she could appear sly, and change them around each year. One year it was a roaster oven. The next year was a 3 way warmer for entertaining. I still have that!
But one year, mom got confused. I got a second roaster oven. I am not kidding you. AND, since we lived in L.A., it was put in local storage, and forgotten about. And I never did get the electric frying pan one of my sibs got 2 of.
Eventually, we moved back here and I opened one of the roasters. Not for a turkey, but to bake more desserts because we were running low on time. I can attest that these work perfectly for pumpkin and banana breads. Also, you can only do one pumpkin pie at a time. We were looking into getting a second tier rack, but never did. I think you could do cookies that way too.
So, we found the second roaster, which is this one pictured. By Bella Cucina, it has an 18 quart capacity with a removable inner cavity pan for easy cleaning. It also comes with a metal rack for easy roast beast removal.
This can handle up to a 22 lb. bird or roast and the oven can be set from 150 to 450 degrees. So, easily used as a warmer or as a roaster, depending on your needs. And, there is a indicator light that lets you know it is ‘on’.
Looking at the pictures, I just realized that the barcode was cut out of the bottom of the box. That is DEFINITELY my mom! She lived for rebates. Anybody else out there remember when corporations gave rebates? Mom once bought her first computer by the rebate, NOT for what it could do. I miss my mom!
So, anyway, this is NEW and UNUSED but we were a bit confused on which of our two roasters were opened. And we didn’t want to screw this up…so, we did open this to verify we hadn’t used it. We have a video of the box being opened and yep, it was new. Let me know if you want a video of the great unveiling.
We’re hoping somebody wants this and the Marlboro longhorn carving board we listed a few days ago. Thanksgiving is coming!
Thank you for your consideration and viewing this listing.
