We had this in my family for years and I always thought they were angels. I think my mom split them up and some of my sibs may have gotten the angels. I looked them up on eBay under ‘miniature porcelain blue angel candleholders” and found their brethren.
There are from Concepts International. It is possible the designer thought of this as a ‘host of angels’ and the ‘Christmas Choir’ combination or even they might have been in a Nativity Set. I always thought we should have found more. You can see that there are sets with the same ‘star’ pattern in the robe with both angel and choir members with and without instruments.
The boy and girl singer are 2” x 2” x 4” tall. They are in excellent condition but the boy has dot on the back of his head. It feels like it could ‘pop’ off. Or I am wrong. Sorry!
The correct color is closest to the angels on the brown table. They are a lighter blue; with a hint of violet. We are including a BONUS of 2 vintage candles to start you off with.
Now that we are downsizing, we hope to find them a new home.
Boxed for shipping, this weighs 1 lb and measures 5” x 4” x 7”.
