Nana’s Handmade Vintage Set of 2 Eyelet Lace Neck Roll or Bolster Pillows
These beautiful eyelet lace pillows were found in Nana’s bedroom after she passed. Since we were dealing with 2 deaths within 6 weeks, her things were thrown in boxes and placed in our attached garage.
This was in storage in the garage and we don’t sell things that aren’t clean, or if we do, we explain exactly what needs to be done. In this case, while we are fairly sure Nana made this herself (we see/remember no tag), we were unsure of the fill, so didn’t want to wash this. We did wash the cotton?/poly? outer shams in hot bleach water and it was fine.
Cleaned and ready to go, this handmade vintage pillow measures 15” long and 5” wide and has a 17” diameter. The edges are gathered together with the front sporting white ribbon. There also is a 2 3/8" ruffle at around the diameter at the 13” mark. It’s not perfect, nothing handmade is, but it’s pretty darn close.
Just a note: we’re not sure if this is a neck roll or bolster pillow because from pictures, it could be either. We just think this seems softer, and it is probably, but is not guaranteed, to be a neck pillow.
Truly, a beautiful decorative pillow that will work with any color scheme you have, in any room you need a drop of whimsy. Would be adorable on a white metal 1970s daybed.
Boxed for shipping, this weighs 1 lbs 4 ozs and measures 16” x 10” x 8”. It’s a pillow…it fits : )
