I made this table to make my late wife more comfortable while recovering from too many to count injuries and surgeries. The base is constructed from steel bar, steel tubing, and some wood. The flat steel bar and is only 3/4" thick so it can be slid under the bed, recliner, or couch. The table top is made of birch hardwood and plywood and can be raised, lowered, and rotated out of the way if you want to get up. The table top is in two pieces. The left side is fixed flat to hold coffee cups, pens, etc. The right side can be angled for reading, using a lap top, tablet etc. Or it can be flat for eating. It is a very unique design that I've not seen before. It is a very useful table and in great shape.
Included is the adjustable light/magnifying glass.
