This live edge bench is both practical and a piece of art. I’m not sure of the type of wood, but the bench is heavy.
The seat sits on two sawed off logs, probably the same type of wood.
By itself, the bench is beautiful and sturdy, but what really stands out are the etchings of pines, a wolf, and two moose (bull and cow). I don’t know what process was used, but I would be glad to know. Some of the art is faint, probably from use over the years, but they are very detailed.
The bench measures approximately 4 feet long, 18 inches wide, and 18 inches tall.
