Seth Thomas mantle clock. Model: 1314-000. Name: Legacy-3W. This is a key wound, 8 day that strike chimes or can be set for "silent". I started winding it every Monday about 6 months ago. It's about 35 years old and belonged to my parents, sat on a shelf unwound until they passed. It sat on a shelf in my home for many years until I cleaned and lubricated it. It works fine. Over the course of a day it loses one or two minutes. It is adjustable but it's pretty intricate so I haven't bothered. There are instructions on the inside of the back door on setting the time and chimes. I've seen these on-line for as much as $250 that aren't in nearly as good condition. Many of them are "for parts only". There are also some knock-offs that appear to be the same but aren't Seth Thomas made. There are also some that have had the insides replaced with electric clocks - but that takes the charm (and the value) out of it.
