This movie is truly deserving of its Academy Awards. Katharine Hepburn, a multi-Academy award winning actress, plays the inspirational mother. Award winning Henry Fonda plays the father who struggles with dementia and the fear and anger of growing older. Enter Chelsea, played by Jane Fonda, Henry Fonda’s real daughter, and the only film they ever made together. The family struggles to reconnect while they still can.
As so many families now go through similar situatlions, this movie is true to life, and hopeful at the same time.
The back of the box states, “This is a movie to ponder and always keep in your heart.” This is truly how good this film is.
This film has some kind of security device inside it, according to the label on the bottom. We don’t know what this means.
