Note: Some guy posted that I didn't disclose the fact that I had done the work on this Kenwood unit myself. This is true, and may also be true of some of the other vintage audio equipment I have listed on Craigslist as well, but this is NOT some secret - as this "hater" implied. I have been repairing and restoring vintage audio here in Ann Arbor for over a decade and this is information that I readily disclose in conversations with anyone and everyone that purchases equipment from me before they purchase it from me - and I have always done so. In fact, everyone that buys from me buys it straight out of my shop where they can see it, hear it, inspect it and confirm it working!. They're also informed that if they have any issues with equipment they purchase from me that I will support a solution in all cases. I stand behind my work, have always operated in good faith and am proud to have been part of a large local community of vintage audio techs, musicians and electronics professionals here in Ann Arbor.
For the true Kenwood lover, a fully restored KA9100 Integrated amplifier in very good condition +.
These amplifiers can be found for sale online, but rarely after they have been fully restored - as restoration of these amplifiers is difficult, extensive and expensive. But it is truly worth it in the end. The unit for sale has been fully restored and sounds great. I've listed this amp for a fantastic price. Currently these amps are selling for more in un-restored condition than I'm asking here. I hope this can go to a good home and be enjoyed for many more years to come. If you have any questions or are interested in purchase please call - text messages usually go unanswered.
