A good pair of iconic speakers. The AR2ax. Designed by Edgar Vilchur with the help of Henry Kloss - who went on to design the Advent Loudspeaker.
These are a three way speaker and work as they should. The surrounds were re foamed and capacitors were replaced. I cleaned the potentiometers with deoxit and opened them up, they are clean.
Cosmetically the cabinets are decent. No significant chipping. One dome tweeter is pushed in a little. This in no way effects the sound.
Gutanteed these speakers will last as long as you want them to.
