Ramparts began publishing in 1962 and was a staunch anti-war, anti-Nixon, anti-Establishment, magazine. It was like an upscale Rolling Stone Magazine of its time,, publishing articles on oppressed people, investigative reporting, politics and usually featured on rock star per issue. It often included poetry, art criticism, and a few short stories.

This issue is one of the most memorable ones—primarily for the feature on Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones.

This 78 page issue has some great color photos of The Stones including an artsy collage of the group, individual shots of band members, the fans, and a really neat one of Mick Jagger on stage in the background and a Hell’s Angels “enforcer” in the foreground.

One of the inserts is loose, but all 78 pages are in good shape.
