MCM Gold Gilt and 5/8” glass 1960s Oval Cocktail Table – Original Owner, Pristine
A rare collectible from the late 1960s or around 1970, this cocktail table has been carefully preserved for nearly 60 years. Always in the off-limits living room, it was used only to display a crystal candy dish (with a doily underneath), never drinks or food, and moved only twice. The table shows virtually no wear—glass and gilt base are essentially flawless.
The ornate gold gilt base is stamped C-324 and possibly QT-401 underneath, helping verify its vintage authenticity. It supports a thick 5/8" oval glass top and measures 35" x 23" x 16" high—a substantial, elegant statement piece. Its style and craftsmanship reflect the luxury of fine Detroit or Midwest showrooms of the late 1960s.
Condition: Exceptional vintage condition. The glass top is perfect, and the gilt base is immaculate—essentially flawless for a 60-year-old table.
