This monthly magazine, in newsprint form, offered housewives back in the day romantic short stories, articles on managing the home, songs, poems, and dress patterns—along with some interesting ads.
The magazine, published by Vickey and Hill Publishing Co. of Augusta, Maine, called itself “A Journal of Choice Literature.”
It measures 13 1/2 x 11 inches.
Although some of the bindings have come loose, all of the magazines have the full amount of pages. One of the magazines have torn corners on the last few pages and some have a few nicks on the borders, but all of the great graphics are in good shape.
