Antique Magazines for Housewives - $30 (near Chelsea)

The magazine, published by Vickey and Hill Publishing Co. of Augusta, Maine, called itself “A Journal of Choice Literature.”
It measures 13 1/2 x 11 inches.
Although some of the bindings have come loose, all of the magazines have the full amount of pages. One of the magazines have torn corners on the last few pages and some have a few nicks on the borders, but all of the great graphics are in good shape.
Here are the dates.
—July 1923
—April 1927 (loose binding0 Special Easter Edition
—June 1927 (loose binding) “Children’s Day”
—Feb. 1930 (good shape)
—Jan. 1933 (good shape; 32 pages) New Year’s Edition
Two things stand out with these magazines the cover art (most signed by F. S. Nosworthy) and the ads (some are comical).
All five magazines were addressed were addressed to a person in Watervliet, MI, and are in pretty good shape for being around a hundred years old.
