This jacket is BRAND NEW and UNUSED and MINT condition.
It is also something that has me spitting mad. I bought a couple of years ago and gave it to a kid who promptly lost it in her apartment and never used it. There was a receipt in case she didn’t like the color.
Fast forward to this Christmas and she found it and asked if we could exchange it after the holiday. I said, ‘yes’. When I took it back, WITH the receipt, they refused to take it. I knew they’d stopped taking it back without a receipt, but not WITH a receipt.
I can’t figure out what I’m more mad about. A kid who can’t organize her closet. Or the greedy, corporate overloads at Kohl’s. Seriously, I’m older than dirt and I remember when you could return things 5 years after buying WITHOUT a receipt as long as it was unused.
Arrrgh!
So, this is the situation. Receipt says regular price was $44. Sale price was $15. I’m a mom, it’s the hunt! I really think this beautiful cozy, fluffy, jacket is worth what I’m asking. It’s not mine; it’s the kid’s. Sigh.
Extra jacket info – Label says to wash inside out before wearing.
And the pictures are odd. The color is called ‘Galvanized Green’. It’s definitely a green hue with a gray undertone. We took pics on too different backgrounds but it didn’t show right. Finally, I got help with something called filters, and now at some of the pics look green-ish. The actual color is between the 2 different colors of the front jacket, and I’d describe it as a wonderful sage green with a touch of gray.
