This vintage baby/doctor scale can weigh items up to 130 lbs.
This item was not used with actual babies, but instead by a farmer to weigh new-born sheep. Decades later it was repurposed to weigh yarn that was sold by the pound.
It is in excellent condition and works as it was supposed to work. It is enameled metal. There is minor age-wear and tape marks on the metal. It also has a few bits of rust, for which we recommend Evapo-Rust.
It could be used in a business, especially if the items being sold are by the pound. Perfect for MDs or vets! It could be a useful decoration in a kitchen. It could serve as a vintage decoration in a restaurant or bar. The possibilities are endless, and serves the dual purpose of reusing things that are still working!
