Antique Chinese artifact incense burner - the ding was used as a cooking vessel for making offerings to ancestors. This one probably belongs in a museum but would make a nice addition to any private collection. It is heavy, a magnet does not stick to it and it does resonate a pleasant ringing sound when dinged.
