HyVis (high viscosity?)Motor Oil out of Pennsylvania called its oil the “world’s finest.” It was known for selling different types of motor oil based on mileage. More mileage, more viscosity.

The company did a lot of advertising in the Detroit area. These two promote a local Detroit garage, Mayotte’s Buick Garage, near the corner of Clairmount and Woodward.

What’s so cool about these two cards are the graphics of a 1920’s garage. It’s almost like a pen and ink sketch. The backs are blank. The cards measure 6 x 3 inches each.

These cards are in really nice shape. One of them is mint. The other one has a faint semicircular statin on the back that shows through slightly when the card is held up to the light.

Both cards are great examples of early automotive Detroit history. I will ship them to you enclosed in a hard polypropylene cover for protection, unless you want to meet. Shipping would be free.
