The whole idea of eugenics began in 1869 from a relative of Charles Darwin. This belief really caught on in the early 1900s, when the government enacted strict immigration quotas and forced sterilization on people with mental and physical disabilities, alcoholics, criminals, the homeless, and prostitutes. Also ,many people in underserved populations were sterilized, usually without their consent. The whole ideas is the nature determines everything.

What is so ironic is that this insane idea was adopted by Nazi Germany, who took it up a notch.

This whole concept of “survival of the fittest” encouraged “superior” people to have more children (sound familiar?) while discouraging or preventing “inferior” people from reproducing.

Fortunately, eugenics became discredited by real science.

This 22 page booklet from 1941 is designed for “superior” audiences, providing them with a catalog of books on love, sex, birth control, morals, and sex deduction

It measures approximately 5 x 7 inches and is remarkable shape for being 75 years old.
