We are presently focused on identifying, developing, and integrating a highly-qualified Web Developer II.
Web Developer II is responsible for designing and developing web based user interfaces. Testing and assuring cross-browser and cross-platform quality and adherence.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform web design and development across the software development life cycle phases including requirements, architecture, design, development, administration and enhancement for internal and customer facing products and services. Incorporate user interaction expertise in all product and website updates.
√ Work with your team lead / manager to identify tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines. Perform your assignments on time. Provide clear, concise and accurate status to your team lead and management.
√ Create web designs that adhere to stakeholder expectations, usability standards, and align with established product styles and maintain all assets under source control.
√ Implement user interface guidelines, style guides, GUI architecture, usability standards and content management. Create and maintain all design documents and review end user documentation for accuracy.
√ Research and incorporate where appropriate the latest best practices for user interaction design.
√ Mentor junior developers towards being development and user interaction experts.
√ Perform Webmaster duties on public web sites to publish sales and marketing materials, establish search engine criteria, and implement new web pages and concepts for the Marketing department.
√ Convert designs and mockups into HTML and CSS for use by less senior web developers.
√ Use development, pre-production, and production environments and develop automated tools and procedures to build and promote software through the development cycle to deliver regular upgrades with enhancements.
√ Lead certain projects by gathering and documenting requirements with other department and team members. Produce visual comps, web maps, prototypes and technical papers to communicate requirements and technical features for review, approval, and execution.
√ Work effectively within tight schedules that include multiple projects and timelines. Perform your assignments on time. Provide clear, concise and accurate status to your team lead.
√ May be called upon to create Flash objects using CS3 or CS4.
√ In depth knowledge of HTML and CSS.
√ Pixel perfect graphic creation.
√ A strong working knowledge of design tools common to design and Web development, such as Photoshop and Flash.
√ At least 5 years of web development experience.
√ Proficiency with Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0 and the ability to write new script and to work from existing code and frameworks.
√ Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts and Design (or relevant experience).
