Dietary Fat Research Study – Research Study Volunteers Needed

Healthy overweight female volunteers needed, age 18 – 45, for research study to evaluate the impact of dietary fat on insulin sensitivity and appetite. To qualify, you must be healthy, overweight to borderline obese (Body Mass Index 25-32 kg/m2, inactive, and on no regular medications (except birth control). The study includes two overnight visits to the University of Michigan Medical Center. Small blood and muscle tissue samples will be taken during these hospital visits. Financial compensation. Other benefits subjects receive: free health assessment including body composition analysis, measurement of blood lipid profile, and free nutrition consultation with a registered dietitian.
