Everyone knows that home ownership is the American Dream. That dream can quickly become a nightmare, however, for uninformed buyers. Even newly constructed homes can harbor costly mistakes - mistakes that may not be visible to the untrained eye. Only a certified, trained and educated home inspector has what it takes to ensure that you will receive a professional and thorough home inspection.

Hello, my name is John and I am a NACHI certified home inspector with over 500 inspections to my credit to date. I can provide you with top notch service, the highest quality inspections, and next day reports generated on the industrys latest software; all for a very reasonable rate. I have over 100 hours of continuing education credit over the last four years with 24 more hours scheduled for the next few months, and I have worked as a Union carpenter for almost 10 years prior. Here is a breakdown of some of the systems that I inspect; of course each home is different, so I customize each report to fit the clients needs. My inspections usually begin outside where I will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, porch, windows, doors, sidewalks, adjacent buildings such as sheds and garages, and anything else that I see that I myself would want in an inspection report all the while I am snapping pictures and taking detailed notes and observations; as I stated before, each home is different and it is impossible to foresee everything that needs inspection until I evaluate the house on site so, for examples sake, if you have a dock as most do not, I will inspect that too. Once I complete the exterior inspection, I will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors and windows (again), as well as checking the function of the heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. All bathrooms, the kitchen, the laundry room, and any other areas receive a thorough check, along with the attic and/or basement and crawl space. My inspections are noninvasive and do not require the damaging of any area of your home, and I have the latest tools and gear to offer the most comprehensive and up-to-date techniques to insure this. I also invite my clients to walk through the inspection alongside of me so that I can point out exactly what I see and can answer any questions that they may have on the spot, while they are fresh in their mind. My clients who do this say that in most cases, the written report was just a reminder of an educational day spent examining their home.
