West-siders need not travel far to find a kitty companion. The Humane Society of Huron Valley now has cats and kittens available for adoption at Karnik Pet Lodge, located behind Kmart in the Maple Village shopping center. Check out some of the current residents:
Bat and Puma: a gorgeous Purr-fect pair of black cats; their Petfinder ad calls them “shy”, but they have really blossomed and are quite playful and affectionate.

Also available on the Westside: Chuck and George, a purr-fect pair of front declawed kitties currently in foster. You couldn’t ask for a nicer, more affectionate pair of roly-poly boys! Everyone that meets them loves them, including the permanent feline residents of their foster home.

Karnik Pet Lodge is open from 6am to 6pm with cat adoption times between noon and 5pm.
