The valvetronix series is best described as a hybrid amp. With a powerful 50 watt solid state power amp pushed by two 12AX7 tubes 2 x 12 combo. To recreate 12 of the most popular hi-gain amps. It also has additional effects you can program and save to fit your style or needs. My favorite feature is the built in attenuater in the back. It allows you to push the power amp, while at low volumes without pissing off your neighbors. you can scan you tube for demonstrations, but with your specific guitar and your style will determine the sound. I'm sad to let this go but...i have to.
