The job: We'd like to find someone who could pick up our daughter at our neighborhood school at 11:45 1-2 days a week and take care of her until the end of the school day -- 3:45. Ideally, our sitter would have the flexibility to sometimes stay until about 5 or 5:30 when Mom has meetings -- this would be every few weeks -- and you'd be taking care of the boys, too, at that point. Ideally, you could babysit on Tuesdays from 11:45-3:45 -- and potentially one other day of your choice if you wanted more hours. Ideally, you'd be able to babysit for us in the evening every couple weeks for date night. We'd ask you to help the kids clean up from their activities with you, and do a few light errands with the kids sometimes (like picking up a couple groceries, going to the bread store, etc. . . ). This summer, we will need care about 12-15 hours a week for all kids, and that would entail organizing outings, going to our pool, lots of outdoor play, etc. . . Ideally, you'd be able to work with us in the summer, too. We pay $12/hour in cash each week (with a raise every year and holiday bonuses) and provide some extra cash when needed for activities with the kids.
Qualifications: We're looking for someone who has the potential to work with us for the next year or two at least, mostly taking care of the kids after school a couple days a week. Recent childcare experience with school age boys and girls is a must, as are recent references. You need your own transportation and a good driving record-- we live about 1/2 mile from the Big House.
