Eames-era Atomic Sunburst Starburst Electric Clock - $50 (Ypsilanti)

I offer a rare cream-gold/copper-brass sunburst/starburst electric wall clock, inspired by Elgin Eames and built ca. 1955 by Bilt-Rite MFG. Co. in Chicago, Illinois. The mechanical movement works perfectly, determined from a test period of 5 hours with no noise or odor, and was manufactured by Lanshire. Its tag is intact, and it appears that the clock has not been abrasively cleaned, if at all, since its brass bezel has a machine-brushed striped finish, which would have been obliterated by cleaning. It measures 19.25" maximum diameter. Notice the intricate face, comparable and perhaps superior than most other designs of the era.
