1989 SAAB 900 5 Speed Hatchback Very Low Mileage - $2995 (Ann Arbor)
2nd owner, very low mileage southern car (most of its life).
Base 900 model (manual window cranks and mirrors).
Excellent overall and mechanical condition, 66,500 miles.
Drives smooth, quiet and tight, tracks like an arrow and corners precisely with great steering feel, just like a classic low mileage SAAB should, wonderful classic SAAB engine sound - must drive to appreciate!
Beautifully shifting 5 speed manual, no jumping out of reverse, no missed shifts. Smooth and quiet clutch action.
New exhaust, recent pads and rotors.
Excellent all season tires (almost new) on original SAAB alloys.
Body with no rust except on fuel cap door.
Original paint except right front fender (minor shunt repair - never reached into body rails or suspension). Turbo hood (car is non-Turbo!). Original SAAB rear spoiler.
Tan cloth interior OK, headliner in great shape. Some flaws: Usual cracks in dash, rear seat cushion detached.
A/C all there but does not work.
Owned by long-time SAAB-ophile, locally maintained by SAAB-only shop.
