I am representing a community empowerment through the arts project called Telling It Teens. It is run by volunteers/students from University of Michigan and coordinates with a local drop-in center for runaway teens, and teens with troubled home lives. It has been operating for 7 years now, and has shown some amazing results in teaching art and communication skills to teens in a poor community in Michigan.

I am hoping to do a photo project with the teens over a semester culminating in a gallery show in the building we meet in, and we need cameras and materials!

Telling It Teens would need 10 cameras (film or digital) to do this project effectively, and you can help! You can either donate cameras, film, resources for developing, or framing materials.
