I will be moving out of my absolutely homey, quiet, peaceful and beautiful loft in January and my landlords are such great people I want to help them fill this space. This loft is set in downtown Manchester, MI within a short walking distance to River Raisin. When it is warm you can open the windows and hear the rush of the river. This is best in the summer nights, calming and peaceful to the soul. Within the space is an open kitchen, large living space that I have divided into a living room and bedroom. I am able to fit a full sized bed with a oscillating fan on one side and a medium sized end table on the other. The closet is a walk in closet with plenty of room to hang your clothes. I currently have my dresser set up in the closet. It works perfectly and I still have a lot of space. Above one of the areas to hang your clothes (you have 2 areas) is a shelf. In the living space I have a full size futon set up to separate the bedroom from the living room along with table, bookcase and TV center. You would not need to have a kitchen table, I use bar stools to sit at the counter. The kitchen has lots of open space as well as cabinetry space. The fridge is full sized! There is a full size range and dual sink within the kitchen. I have cleaned and designed the kitchen accenting the brick wall on one side. From the kitchen to the living room stands a beautiful brick wall. There are 3 tall wall sized windows allowing for plenty of sunshine. The bathroom has much storage and is spacious. There is a stand up shower and a walk in closet. In between the living room and kitchen, before the hallway is a closet to hang more clothes, keep your sweeper, trash can, etc. You will not use much electric. In the winter the heat stays sealed in the loft and during the summer the loft is quiet cool, especially if you leave a fan on in the window on cool nights and early mornings. You control and pay for your hallway light on your side. You have a back entrance to your loft and a front entrance and exit to the downtown area. I have truly enjoyed my stay at Manchester and now my life takes me in a different direction. I found this loft on CL and I hope that someone finds this loft to enjoy as much as I did. The price is excellent the landlords are right down the road and fix anything you need right away. They took excellent care of me! The area is exceptional and is a place to where one can call home and you enjoy coming and being home. The drive to Ann Arbor is only 30 minutes. It is quiet a beautiful drive and I looked forward to driving everyday as this was my thinking time to relax. When I first moved into this loft it had not been rented for awhile and was quiet dirty. I cleaned everything in the loft so it will be ready for move in by January 5th!!! To make you feel secure there is a motion detected light at the back entrance where you will park and light in the hallway as well. The trash is paid for by the landlord and is located on the other side of where you park (you can walk to it). You can walk to everything. There is a movie rental store right down the road a cozy coffee house, art shops, restaurants, neat second hand stores, gas station, grocery store, laundry mat and car wash all within walking distance to you. There is even a little corner Village Tap. The community holds many activities that you can get involved in. In the summer there are weekly live concerts at the gazelle. There are a couple of banks as well. I have designed my space to fit me, but maybe it fits your tastes as well. If this is the case I will not paint the walls back to white and we may be able to arrange something for me to leave the curtains and some furniture.
