I'm planning to move from Ann Arbor at the end of this coming fall term, or possibly at the end of August, to focus on preparing my dissertation, which means my great efficiency in Kerrytown will become available starting January 2010, and possibly as soon as September 1, 2009.

You can�t beat this location � literally steps (50, perhaps; I can count and get back to you) from the People�s Food Co-op, Farmer�s Market, Sparrow, Zingerman�s, and many other great Kerrytown spots. This is a medium sized efficiency that�s well designed with two separate rooms, so that it feels more like a 1-bedroom than, say, a studio apartment. The bedroom/living area is on the small to medium size (approximately 8.5 x 11 feet), and there is also a hallway (featuring a decent sized closet) which leads to an eat-in-kitchen, which easily fits a small table and gets great morning light. The bathroom (off the kitchen) has a spacious standup shower and vintage green tile in excellent condition.

The landlord is the most attentive and responsive I have had. The rent, including heat and water (both work very well), is $550 per month.
